The Author
Snapshot Classics Dickens titles are written by Martin Morris, an award-winning writer and a consultant to the Dickens World educational theme experience at Chatham in Kent. An acknowledged Dickens expert, he is available for lectures and talks on both the author and his works.

The Dickens World Experience
The Dickens World educational theme experience is located at the old Royal Navy Dockyards at Chatham in Kent. It is already attracting record numbers of schools from throughout the UK and from schools in Europe with its exciting educational packages. It is both educational and highly enjoyable, recreating Dickens London complete with characters from that era who will steal your hat if they can. These actors will also run both Dickens and Victorian London educational tours around the site on request

A large open Victorian square supports a haunted house, a schoolroom with interactive quiz, a 3D cinema, a music hall with a superb amatronic presentation, shops, cafes and a fully licensed bar and restaurant based on the Thames-side Six Jolly Fellowship Porters from ‘Our Mutual Friend’. The final highlight is a darkened wet boat ride that takes you through London sewers, along the London skyline and then shooting down backwards into the pool for a thrilling finale.
